:happybounce: :dancinred: ;D :happy1:  I am a Vikes fan once again.... still not convinced its over yet.  So when is the Sports Illustrated video/special comming out on Blubberin Bretts courtship with the Vikings over the last year... it was soooo memorable.... I'll cherish the memories.... wait... he wasnt with the team?  I could swear with yesterdays news flashes everywhere that he was retireing from the Vikes, or maybe he was hospitalized from heat stroke whilest training with the highschool team down in Mississippi or somthing... ummm.... he just said no. ;D

Nah... it wont end then.... hes done that the last few years already. :doah:  Well lets see... he's almost 40, if he lives to be 90... thats 50 more years of hemming and hawing to the press ;)... but then again, at some point the rest of the media that still cares now, wont anymore :surrender:... Favre will be holding press conferences after he retires (whenever that may really be...) to let us all know how he's doing, if he still thinks he can throw a ball, how his golf game is doing, how his lawn is looking...  :coffee:  I just hope he doesnt go into coaching... we'll have to go through even more years of him deciding if he wants to hang that up... :doah: :rotflmao:

I used to like Favre until this crap.  What a  :whistling:.  He didn't even have the b@lls to annouce it to the local media or the media in general after putting this off for months.  He is such a media hound I would think he would revel in the attention of announcing his 3rd or 4th retirement from the NFL while blubbering like a 4 year old.  Dang.  I did want him to play for the Vikes, but this whole fiasco and drama was started by him.  Would have been nice to at least have enough class to bow out and maybe apologize to the fans, players and coaches for holding them hostage for the past few months.

I coulda cared less if he came or not. I think it woulda been fun for the packers games, but other than that, don't care for him. After what he did over the whole summer, he's a selfish dink for sure. Drag a team on for four months and then say you don't feel like playing. What the heck is up with that?

I still don't think it's over by the way. Wait till training camp is over and he hits the pre-season. We all know he didn't like training camp at all.

He also told his pall Peter King that if a team came to him in November and wanted him to play, he wasn't sure what his answer would be. Could you please just hold Madden's big meaty hand and go away Brett???? Either retire or not you big freakin drama queen!!!!

By the way Woody... Thanx for putting up that Favre photo again :puke:... dang, that weirds me out big time.... and it aint just that he's in Vikqueen purple... its that look on his face!  a "you know what" eating smirk on his face... :doah: :banghead:  Man I hope he stays away from us, but I have this gut wrenching feeling this aint over.... I think Jarred Allen started a fire under Bretts behind to make him give an answer by the start of camp, otherwise who knows how long Favre would have put off being with the team... He's even more self-absorbed than I previously thought, I dont think he realizes how much he rubs people the wrong way, or he doesnt care, but either or, he doesnt get it at all.

What a flippin' drama queen.  Princess Favre  :queen2: should learn this is football, not ballet.  I already dislike him (unless the Vikes win the SB this year)!

Last report has Farve taking his physical as I write this and then will ink a 10 to 12 mil one year contract and be at practice later this afternoon...   Packer/Viking tickets just became the hottest thing!  :rotflmao:  My son in law is bragging he can sell his season ticket to the game and pay for the rest of season with the money..

When practice started today, Booty was wearing #9,  Brett was out there shortly after practice started.... Mark Rosen was on KFAN live when Blubbering Brett ran out on the royal purple carpet onto the field...

Vikings are expected to receive $4,500 from the Federal Gov't under the cash for clunkers quarterback program.

Good one!  Still, when the Vikes win the SB this year, that $4500 will be a bargain.
