Here is a photo of a Pike that we caught on Friday night. It measured 27 1/2"  Work the weeds with spoons or spinnerbaits and you will catch Pike and Bass.

You're right on the money. Bass is exceptional for that. Haven't had a ton of luck with the Northerns but the bass are endless. Hopefully I'll find more Northern and Walleye in the 2010 season.
