LOTW Report 5-7-09
We are ready for opening day!  Here are some updates from the last month or so.

The Sturgeon fishing has been fantastic!  There have been huge crowds up every weekend.  Rumor is that a 79 incher was caught recently, there were many monsters caught.  Gonzo caught a 53 incher yesterday right in front of the resort.  Lanny was cleaning his charter boat yesterday and dropped a line in for Sturgeon, in about 20 minutes had caught and released 2 Walleye and 2 Sauger.  He figured the action was too good he would not be able to get any work done so he put it away.  We did some remodeling and lots of cleaning and we are ready to go.

The reports are sounding like it should be a great opener this year.  There is strong current right now so heavier jigs will most likely be necessary.  The lake is healthy and we are looking forward to another great summer season.
