This weeks daytime walleye bite provided anglers with plenty of action from big walleyes and a few slot fish.  The water temp is 52 degrees up from 48 degrees on the opener.  Continue to work the North Shore sand with live bait rigs using a jumbo leech.

Drift the 20' depth areas to contact fish using a drift sock if the seas are windy.  Cover some ground as the fish are starting to scatter in these areas.  If the wind blows consider the rock shore areas.  Anchor up using a slip bobber and a leech.  Better areas this week have been the Agate Bay Reef.

   Be safe and good luck!

Hey Bob, I herd last weekend that the water temps have been so cold since opener it slowed the shinner spawn and they are now just starting, any thoughts?Fish still seem to be scattered,in all different depth ranges.

the only bait that put a fish in the boat for opener for us was a shiner.
