how do you do a soft restart on that...... i was told to do this becouse my setings are all messed and that would take it back to the factory setings

My dad had to do this recently.

Soft reset (does not delete GPS data) - Turn off unit, press & hold PAGES button, press & hold POWER button.

Hard reset (deletes stored GOS data such as trails and waypoints) - Turn off unit, press & hold ZIN & ZOUT together, press & hold POWER button
