I hope that you all were able to get away from home for the Memorial weekend. The weather was very nice; maybe just a little cool on Saturday, but Sunday was perfect. We had a full house this weekend, which is a god send right now. I have been lacking a little bite on the report front, because we have been working very hard on resort projects and things of that nature all week. I was able to get the new trailer put on lot number 2 up on the lake front this past week. What a project that turned out to be. I thought that I was going to just pull the old one out, and put the new one in. That was not the case as usual; everyone wants their piece of the pie of course and it has taken a little more time and money to get it done.

But it is in and I will have it ready to rent or sell in the next week or so. I just have to get the air conditioner and the natural gas hooked up this week and then finish the grading and get the grass seed down and it will be ready. I will have to wait on putting up the 10x28 ft deck for a month or so, until I can get some cash flow going. It is a beautiful lot and it can be yours for under 150,000 with a brand new 16x56 ft 2 bedroom mobile home. Like I said, it is a lake front lot that sits just 50 ft from the lake. I will be posting pictures and a video of it on the web site this week, so you can take a look at it. She is a beautiful mobile home and site. The site itself is 42x 62 ft

Now I do have some fishing info for you. The fish seem to be on the move from 12 to 16 ft of water and they are finally starting to feed. The shallow rock bite has been slower than I would expect for this time of the year, but the water temps are starting to make their climb into the upper 50 degree range. There is an evening bite on the deeper water rocks and gravel. Sloppy Joes Gravel Bar was on fire this past weekend. Anyone who was out there was able to get their limits in an hour or so, just before dark under bobbers with a leech. I will be pre fishing for the Wave Wacker tourney in the next week or so, and then I will be able to give you first hand info on where the fish are holding and what you can use to catch them.

It has been a very busy start to the season, with the various projects that are going at here, so I will be on the water in the next 3 to 4 days to get more of a handle on the fishing front. If there is something to report, I will try to do so. These reports take about and hour or so to do every week and I have not had the hour to spare on them over the past 2 weeks and for that I do apologize, I know a lot of you look forward to the report every week. The work load should lighten up over the next week or so and I will be on the water every day after that. I have a couple of cabins available for this coming weekend if you need it call me @320 532 3431 and we will set it up for you.

Until next time

Be safe

We will see ya
