5-28-09 report

I know its late, but I now have a few minutes to make my post  A buddy and I went out to madison in search of some bedding crappies and some Bass! we started at soem little known beds and they were empty. we started fishing around 9a.m.ish . We moved to a Heavy north shore weed line and threw buzz baits and spinner baits both on the shallow side and deep side of the weed line. right away kyle C. hooked into a decent bass ( around 3.5 lbs) managed to get it to boat side and she threw the hook  . As we moved down the line we managed to catch atleast 20+ bass . next spot was a large spawning flat with a few docks by the narrow and had the deepest water near it  we caught several 12-14" bass on spinners and straight worms. The sun was high and the wind was light so we tried skipping senko stlye worms under dock .various colors from yellow to black. The pontoons seemed to hold the most fish , catch rate per pontoon was roughly 3 fish to 6 casts. never caught any size but shure got numbers ! Ill be going out to washington on tuesday to fish spawning and post spawn bass :fishing2:
