Mike (7outof10) ,Evan (my son), and I (Jdrummer) went out lookin to stick a pike over the 24" size minimum for the MNO contest but had no luck  We fished lake Francis and only were finding small fish but lots of numbers . I positioned the boat ontop of the deep edge of a weed line and we made casts shallow and deep with fish coming in from both sides !  :fishing2: Some liked a steady retrieve and some liked a little speed up or a stop and go retrieve. There was no doubt when they hit it they smashed it! We used a variety of lures ranging from spinners to cranks to spoons .
(I can confidently say that Mike did out fish me ( I put sun screen on Evan and I at the landing  :doah:)

A sunnie I caught on a crank
