Any one know where I might rent a spanner wrench to remove the lock nut inside the lower unit of my 95 Mercury 40hp??

It is plastic and can't take a punch or screw driver to it or it will crack, have to use a spanner wrench with at least two or three pins to fit inside the nut .

Or if some one is an outboard mecanic I can barter machinist work or pay for the work.

Needs the inner oring and shaft seals replaced.

Thanks, Benny

That one might work, looks like the pins are long enough to get into the hub and turn the nut.

PM me a number or a address so I can pick it up.
