Had a very good guide trip today. I got to take Tim and Jim from WI out today. We started at four AM and marked a lot of fish. We managed a few small eyes but no keepers. Sun came up and we got into the smallies. Started to move down river and Jim managed a very large Carp by the stillwater bridge. Shortly after that he managed a nice 4 to 5 lb channel cat!  :happy1: Still weren't getting the eye cooperation we wanted. Lots of hits but they were quick with no comitment.  :banghead: :bonk: Continued to move down river and marked even more fish. Still just pulled in small eyes. Moved a little farther down and found sheephead and lots of cats along with stripped bass. More small eyes as well. A guy I fish a lot with was guiding as well and only managed one keeper for the day along with small ones.   I ended the day with a pig  catfish that I fought for a while but broke up right at the net :puke:

All in all we caught quite a few  :fishing2: and the gentleman I took out were very fun to have in the boat. We had great conversation, lots of laughs and were catching fish. Thanks guys for a great day on the water!  :woot: Hopefully we will meet up again, if not sooner, at the Brainard Ice Extravaganza.  :cold:

All fish were caught using lindy rigs with red hooks and a bead.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.
