The crappie bite around the Mankato area seems to be wide spread and the fish are relating to wind blown breaks and sand. Trolling minnows or shad raps .8 mph-1.8 mpg is what the fish want. Get out for the holiday weekend and wet a line!  :fishing2:

I also had some luck fishing the wind blown side of the lake from 5-7 fow for some nice perch action.. slip bobber and crappie minnow.
