The daytime walleye bite has not changed much this past week on the deep water mud flats.  Look to the north flats for your best action. Water temp on Sunday was 69o.  To target the slot fish (keepers) try staying on top of the mud using live bait rigs with 8 foot leader and night crawlers.  Mix it up a bit and give a colored hook a try.  Some of the best action on the mud is when the wind is light and the sun is out.

Tip of the week: When fishing the mud flats find the bugs on your electronics and the fish will be there.

Good Luck and we'll see you on the water!
