The daytime walleye bite got real tuff this past weekend with cool north air pushing the temperatures to a low of 46o at night.  Up until then the bite has been on the north mud flats trolling lead core line with cranks.  Spinner blades with crawlers kicked out a few fish on Friday. The daytime corkin on the rocks with leeches should go next when the wind blows into your favorite rock pile. Water temperatures are in the high 60’s. With Labor Day upon us it sounds like we will have some stable air that should help the bite.

Good Luck, be safe and we'll see you on the water!
