He is the greatest quarterback ever because he does not make mistakes that hurt the team.

I might go crazy if I hear that one more time.  He does not make mistakes, but if you look at his stats, he does not do anything else either.  Our kicker has as many touchdown passes as he does.  I know they have played against 3 good defenses, but you would think he would get at least on other touchdown pass by accident.  I'm not saying he should be replaced, but I would just like people to quit talking about him like he is Joe Montana.

he is a good quarterback. is there better? yes.do we have one that is better? not yet. is he better than daunte? yes. did we make a mistake by getting rid of daunte? hell no. brad has only lost 3 of the last twelve starts and you can expect that percentage to hold true throughout the season, which in my oppinion is damn good given this is a new team including the coaching staff. to expect more is a pipe dream.
i agree sometimes the commentators go off on something and sound like a broken record.
i heard the same thing about brett farve their first game of the season. it's like they got a dollar for every time they said his name ::)
until we either sign a good young quarterback and design him to the new system, and we might have what we are looking for in tarvarious, we should be damned thankful we have a quarterback as good and i'm talking experience here too, as Brad Johnson.

It's frustrating to see the defense keep us in the game, the way they do, and the offense can't seem to take advantage of it. The whole offense needs to step it up.
Here's to a long life and a merry one.

A pretty girl and an honest one.

I think there are too many new things with the Vikes.  A new head coach, a new offensive Coord, new quarterback coach, a new running back, new offensive line, a new offense....on and on.

It's going to take a while until they are all clicking together.  We have to look at who he has for receivers.  The biggest threat is who?  Troy Williamson, a second year guy who catches maybe 50% of the balls throw to him.

The offense will get better, give it time.

I heard a stat yesterday, Daunte has lost 15 of his last 20 starts.  Brad doesn't throw all the picks like Daunte.  Brad has bigger hands, so he doesn't fumble like Daunte.  I always liked how they blamed Dauntes fumbles on his small hands!  ;D

Brad is sold, not flashy, and gives us a chance to win.

What are we complaining about? The Vikings are winning. It was a tough fought game yesterday and it just didn't happen for us.....we are still 2-1 and we will continue to win. Our offense will pick it up as the season goes on, they are all pretty new together and will continue to grow together. Luckily we do have Johnson, he is a smart qb. I look forward to more wins and a great season. Our defense looks awesome!

I guess it is good practice for watching the Twins against the Yankees in the playoffs.  It is amazing how in love everyone is with Derek Jeter.  No one does anything better than him.  It is always fun to hear them make a big deal over him making a routine play and talk about how only he could do it.  I alway get the feeling all of the announcers line up in the clubhouse after the game and take turns sucking his (I probably should not say anymore).
