Fishing has been steady this past week. We are doing the majority of our fishing in 25-30 feet of water. Lots of Saugers and a nice mix of Walleye are coming in from out deep with consistent action throughout the day. We do have some houses in shallower which are producing a more steady Walleye bite in the mornings and evenings. Some of the hot colors this past week have been gold, glow red/pink, silver, and white. Stop Signs, Slick Jigs, small Frostee Jigs, or just a plain hook and a minnow have been putting fish on the ice.

Temperatures have been dropping well below zero the past few nights and struggling to get above zero during the day. The colder temperatures have helped freeze up any slush that developed after the snow we received a week or so ago. There is 16-19” of ice out from Pine Island.

Looks like daytime highs in the single digits for the upcoming week, with overnight lows below zero, but not as bitter cold as the past few nights.

We do have some weekend dates available. Also, we will be running a luxury motorcoach trip out of Appleton, WI and Omaha, NE later this winter. For more information check out the "Specials" link at the top left of the page or give us a call.
