Went out for one night and two days, out of Atwater’s Fishing Adventures. Wish I could have stayed longer. Got out on the ice at 8:00am Wednesday and took all day to catch our fish. The bite was steady until 11:00am and then died till late afternoon. We got the limit just before 5:00pm. As the eyes were not biting in the late morning we caught two decent Northern. One of the Slimy's fought hard and tangled in my dead stick line. Just before he came through the hole my line broke with my lucky slick jig. The bobber was still down from the dead stick and I started to reel in. We got it through the hole and pinned the flopper down. The line was twisted twice around the fish and I got my jig back. Today I was out fishing by 7:10am and they started biting hard at 8:00am. I caught 8 fish in about 2 hours. All in all we came home with our limit and two Northern.
