Ok. I need some opinions. The question is do you think I'm crazy...? Feel free to PM as I know with specific information, some don't like to give opinions/advice on open fourm. I am thinking about S. SD this comming weekend. There are zero birds there, but I have been watching the weather and It MAY make sense this weekend for leading edge birds. I only 5 days to go B4 I  hunt. Do you think I'm crazy? I know it is a gamble, and I am not sure if I am making a mistake or not. Let me know what you guys think. I am leaving Thursday, so it is game time for a decision. Let me know what y'all think, and thanks for the help!

"Crazy" form your posts you seem to be on an even keel... ;) I'd say more "anxious" than anything, why are you so gung-ho to  hit the leading edge? you do know that due to a poor hatch last summer that there are fewer juvies this season and even if ya do connect with a few huntable #'s in Southern SoDak which is doubt full for this coming weekend, you'll be into adults birds, major floooded fields and mud up to your "ying-yang" If NE does'nt get more snow this week from the storm thats rolling in that would be a safer run.I'll get more info for ya later in the week and shoot you a message, got friends on MO and two groupes headed into KA over the weekend.

If you want to go bird watching then go to Sodak. Your best chance for high volume shooting would be in MO.
Where I'm from calling, flagging and decoying are just basic skills and the kids will do a little guiding just to pay off some bills.
