I've had the permanent out on Bald Eagle since the 1st of the year and so far nothing really to show for it.

Anyone else out there fishing getting anything?

So far for my house its been, 1 - 16" walleye, about a dozen small crappies, and a few little perch.

I am thinking of hitting Bald Eagle this weekend.  Have you been having any luck?

Try the drop off on the eastside of the island in 22' of water and fish close to the bottom.
Good luck

I've been spending some time talking to some metro fishing people the last couple weeks and that is one lake no one has brought up. Must be slow......

Lets us know how it goes.

Sounds like you need to move...This time of year the eyes become almost dorment, best bet is move your house to deeper water,30+ this time of year is good, you'll need to sort thru  small crappies but you'll have action and fun.
