You have to get right over by the SD boarder to start seeing them. We tried hunting next to the boarder last year. We only had about 100 decoys and a fox pro caller. We saw a ton of speckle belly's and some snows. We had canadas comeing right over us about 20 feet high. We couldn't get the snows to come in close enough. Saw a lot of geese.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away

Looks like the last crack at the "white vermon" this spring will be in NoDak the coming weekend, spent the last 3 days in SoDak,put a ton of miles on,birds were scattered here and there, small bunches of 500 to maybe a couple 1000,ton's of dark and spec geese in the mix.

The price of gas veried from $2.89 to $3.04/gal made scouting very expensive but managed to take it out on some unsuspecting white geese.

90% of the birds shot were juvies and Ross geese.

I'm out,done for the season~

Open water time~
