Good info.  You could always bring along a couple experts to taste them first.  Pictured below are Big-E and dakids who accompanied me on a moral hunting trip last Thursday.  We didn't find a lot but had a great time telling and comparing hunting stories.

would any of you experienced Morel hunters say it is too late to look for these or is there still time left in the season?

I was hopeing to try this weekend but I am thinking it is probably too late.

I went out monday and only found 30-40, and half of them were pretty old already.  The spot where I found them is usually the last spot that I find them every year.  I might try again friday and sea if the rain has brought me some new ones.  It is getting hard to find them with all of the smaller trees and plants greening up.
