So, a carp netter supposedly netted this monster walleye where the St. Croix meets the Mississippi River earlier in the spring.  There are rumors that it weighed up to 20lbs, but others say its more like 15lbs.  Has anyone heard anything about this story, here is a picture of the netter and the fish, its a MONSTER (bigger than any I have seen, I could see that thing weighing 15+ pounds).  - its obvious he is holding it out pretty far, but never the less, its big.... If anyone has any more info, of heard any more rumors, please share!
The fish was weighed, photographed and then released back into the water - Lets hope it makes it way down here to Winona and I CATCH IT  :fishing2:

See for yourself!

If it's a real pic, then no question 15-20 lbs isn't out of the realm. No doubt there are monsters in those two rivers for sure but this is the first I've heard of this one.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

Naw I don't by it,look at how big the guys fingers are,mid 20"s 6lbs plus,is my guess, pull his arms back would give a better perspective.

Gotta agree with Snow.  I'd say this is about a 32" fish.  Probably in the 12lb range.  Nice fish but nowhere near a record.
