Most of you are unaware that JR's tackle has a store in Minneapolis Mn, the store is called Fishing tackle Outlet. They carry a wide variety of branded fishing items, including JR's Tackle.

The store is changing hours and will only be open 2 days a week.

Wednesday and Thursdays 8am to 6pm

8823 Zealand Avenue North, #A
Minneapolis, MN 55445
Phone: (763) 424-8001
Fax: (763) 425-9191

If you've never made it to the store, I strongly urge you to take the time and stop in, I make it out there about once a month and feel like a kid in a candy store. He has some of the most unique fishing related gadgets around. The prices are outstanding and the store workers give outstanding service.

Mention that you heard about them from Minnesota Outdoorsman, that way they have time to mark up the prices.  :rotflmao:

Maybe-since you're "connected" to them, you should mention to them to open a second store in Alexandria, Mn!  We have Christopherson's and Mills Fleet Farm to choose from.  And with all the lakes in the area-the interstate closeby, it'd be a perfect location for them to expand!

Ok, I'll wake up and quit dreaming now.  It was just a thought.   :whistling:

But man oh man how SWEET it'd be to have them up this way!  :happy1:  :fishing:  :dancinred: :party1:

The store is actually in Brookly Park.  You can see it right on 169 just north of 85th.  Their prices are very good and at times better than the big box stores.

Thats right, the mailing address is Mpls though. All of their advertising is using Mpls.

Like you said, it's a great store with great prices.

It got so bad for me for awhile I took a part time job at Gander Mountain for the employee discounts. :help:

Definitely worth the trip. They have a ton of good deals and like I posted above I have a number of their ice rods and love them.

So they are not going to be open 6 days a week like they were?
