What's your set ups, and if cameras are included where are they?

We usually use a big x with some families in field set ups for honkers. With the blinds in a wide half moon. Camera men are behind us on the corners. This year we are going to attempt something new, which we can't say because no one has done it yet, or at least not in the videos I have seen. Riskay, but should pay off.

For water we mix it up in early season with duck decoys, and put them in small family groups, and off season, same thing, we also throw in a blue heron decoy, for security, being they are so skiddish around anything that doesn't look right.

Through out all of our set ups we use flags, flags, and more flagging.

What's your best set up for field/water for duck and/or honkers?

Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

well for geese on the water(for early season now to! love that new rule for the metro) i tryed alot of different things. the circle of death,(not to fond of that one) the X on the water doesnt exactly work the best in my opinion. the J-hook worked pretty decent, but my best results came from one that i added to a little, it is originally like a run way in the middle of the decoys so half one side half other, but i did it 4 ways so theres the incoming landing area and the crossing so 4 family groups of 4-5 sometimes 6-7 and i put those closest to the BOG/bullrush's. i use about 30 big foot floaters (alot of other guys ask me why i would use so many) i say its because they are easyer to see from far off distances and i dont usually have to do to much calling(i suck something fierce at calling)

As do I, I'm learning every day. Practice on my way to and from work. Helps a lot.
