For me there are many things that would make it a great season.
1.  My daughter getting her first buck this year.
2.  Parents getting deer.
3.  Getting a shot at the big buck that has gotten lucky the past 3 years.
4.  Getting my first buck with a bow.
5.  Everyone seeing deer.
6.  Last but most importantly.  A safe season.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

I just love spending as much time as possible in the woods. Its great to see deer, close encounters are fun and a kill is a bonus. Just the smell and the feeling of fall, watching the leaves change colors, watching the leaves fall and then winter setting in all from a tree stand! There is just so much greatness that comes with bow hunting and being out there! To me just being out there is a success!  :happy1:

Just being out there.  No phones, no computer, no cars, etc.  As well as hunting with my dad and a couple of great friends.    :toast:
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

Everyone having a great time.  Seeing that the work you did (making trails, planting trees and food plots, releasing desirable trees) really are making a difference in the habitat on the land.
Oh, yes, it also great to see lots ,and get some, critters.

Just being out in the woods is a success for our clan.  My 77 year old grandmother, dad, aunt & uncle, sister, cousins, son and friends all enjoy spending time together hunting.  If we get a deer it is bonus.

taking a break from the fast pace of the world. theres nothing like the brisk fall air as the sun comes up while you sit in that tree stand patiently waiting for movement. when im too old to pull back a bow i hope i still find myself in the woods during the fall. its like a reset button for me, a time to step back and remember whats important in life and not get caught up in the hustle and bustle.
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.
