Still in the dead of night, huh?
It looks like Old Crab claw wont be showing up in daylight for a while, but the smaller guy shows almost 4am, so thats aproaching light hours!  Still noctural buggers though - 
Lets hope when they make the mistake of coming out when its light, you are on your stand and ready!

Would anyone agree that these two deer could be about 1-2hrs away from thier bedding area?

Why would you say that? I'm guessing one is useing my sanctuary.

I'm just wondering how people read into the times on trail cam pictures.  I find this "somewhat" true in my area.  I have a state park (that we can't hunt) nearby and our food plots are thier closest food source.  The times they are showing up are similiar to yours and I can't move any closer.

Are your camera's on a main food source or trail?

It just an unproven hypothesis I have.  Say a deer general gets up a half hour before dark and heads to food and shows up on a food plot at a specific time; I would think you could judge how far (approx.) they are travelling.

Sorry - my mind never shuts off.  I am always wondering.  Especially, how I can get closer to the big boys or get them to move earlier.  How long does it take them to get from point A to point B.  How far is your sanctuary from your cameras?  What are they doing in the sanctuary before they leave?  Where do they go when they leave the sanctuary? Ect. 

Just thoughts - hope you stick one of these guys!

I have 5 food plots on my land. One little one in the woods I don't hunt and the rest are spread out. This cam is on a trail that goes to the farmers land that has a corn field on it. i think they stay in the woods tell its plenty dark and then come out. They get stupid and come out early when the rut comes around.

We just got 15 ac. home and its been hard to find out were the deer are comming from, I think I no were they bed Iv got 2 trail cam's out one has nothing on it the other I got more action doe's and a nice buck, so I moved the dog house blind there yesterday and sat in it that day.
Iv got it a spike came out and lots of other's stepping around the blind so 1 down more to go.
Iv got acorn tree's so been looking at them for help. We are a low spot in the Fed. grounds in back of us, so Im thinking about looking into the outer banks of this area.
