Heading to the shack to spend sometime scouting the deer and chasing the grouse around.My lab is all wound up and ready to go since she seen the guns come out.I am looking forward to getting out for a long vacation in bird paradise.Anyone that is in the area meet me at the Trails in

Yep, goin up north to work on the stands and chase some birds also :woot:... aint bringing my grouse hunting partner in crime, Drummer, this trip though.... (yeah Im feeling reeaaly guilty :doah:) too much going on to bring him... I guess it'll make me realize how much better it is to hunt grouse over a dog, but then I already know that.  A buddy may be bringing his Gordon Setter, so I may "borrow" him for an afternoon. :whistling: The rest of the month will be pay back time for me & Drummer, Its the best time of the year! :dancinred:

We were up there moving our new shack onto our property close to the VRT this weekend.

Had to run back home to get a different gun mine took a crap.This time I am bringing 3 shot guns.Birds are hot and heavy and I have shot several holes in the sky but still having fun.Haven't seen much for deer yet but thats ok.

We are heading up tomorrow to do more work on the shack and hopefully pop a bird or two. Coming back Saturday, then heading up the next weekend for the whole weekend. Birthday is tomorrow, so am hoping it's not a complete working b-day and hope the boys will at least take me up to one of the establishments for some beverages.
