Update:11/30 The ice did just what I did not want it too, it is back on the shoreline in huge piles and it is a mess. That is ok, because this is what we do best, adapt to mother nature and all of her furry. We must have had a wind switch last night and about 5 to 6 inches of snow. This is what we will have for ice this year. I do not think that it will go anywhere else with the way it is piled up on the shoreline. It is what it is so bring it on! Check out the piles of ice on the shoreline with the web cam.

Well, it is almost that time of year again for the hard water season. If the fall bite is any indication on how the bite is going to be, it will be very good. The Sept. and Oct. full moons were awesome. We did have about 1 inch of ice as far as the eye could see on Sat. morning, but by Sat. afternoon it was all shifting and breaking up. So we will be starting from scratch again, that will be better than to have it all blow back into the shoreline, that would not be good. We are suppose to get some snow later today and into tommorow. Anywhere from 6 to 10 inches from what the weather man is saying. I will keep you updated on the ice as we get a little closer to having some ice. Pray for cold temps and no wind for the next 5 or 6 days. I do have the web cam up everyday so you can see it for
yourself, so check it out! www.rockyreef.com
