Winter Recreation day at Wild River State Park

 

Looking to get outside?  Wild River State Park is hosting an Outdoor Winter Recreation Day this Saturday, December 18.  Ongoing activities will be taking place at the Visitor Center from noon to 3pm.  Bundle up to explore the sports of geocaching and snowshoeing, learn tips and tricks to outdoor digital photography, join in the great snowman build, make and eat homemade ice cream, and more!  GPS units, snowshoes, and digital cameras are all FREE for use this day!  Cross-country skis can be rented for $12-$18.  For more information call the Park Naturalist at 651-583-2925 or visit the Wild River State Park events calendar at www.mndnr.gov/wildriver.
