Without trying to offend anybody...all the people from outside our area are going HOME!!!

AHhhhhh nice and quiet...no more cars racing up and down our road.

You can let the dogs out and not worrie as much about them being run over.

Many don't relize the impact of 1000s of people moving into your area from elsewhere and how it changes your paradise into less than a perfect place to live.

 Paradise begins tomarrow...

= $$$$ that our comunity would surely miss were they to cancel the slicker migration we call deer season.

yes it will be nice when it's over but it's nice while it's here too.

I was thinking when you said the best thing about the end of rifle whitetail season might be some thing like this..

it was a good hunt. let rest and relaxation begin!!

take a kid hunting and fishing!!

Ahhh yes the beverage, I drank that to help me cope with the slicker migration in my neighborhood...made it mush easier to except.

My nieghbor has 40 acers and she had 4 truckloads of family here every weekend to hunt. I wonder if they ever thought they may have just a few too many people for that much ground. I have heard from other neighbors they kinda stretched the property lines or just didn't care where they were. Along with another group on the end of our road.

lots of people buy a lot on the lake and then come hunting season. They deside to just borrow some of your land  and kill a deer or two. I GOT 143 ACERS AND DIDN'T EVEN HUNT HERE BECAUSE OF THE INFLUX OF OUT OF TOWNERS.

I hunted a friends farm about 25 miles away, where there are very few lakes and mostly PRIVATE large tracks of land. We had a great hunt and didn't see one other hunter. Thinking of selling this place and moving to a area with less lakes and less slickers.  It's starting to look like the area I grew up in and moved away from because of the build up of homes and influx of people.

i thought you would say the best thing is that muzzle loader starts.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Sorry BFG, I shot too many with a rifle to be able to kill any with a muzzel loader...Minnesota rules says so

I'm done untill next year, I'm a rifle hunter at heart anyways

You make a mighty fine drink Jigglestick.

I appreciate  you guys sharing your views on being overrun with hunters from the cities and elsewhere. Both the good (money for the local economy) and the bad (traffic, noise, people - some of them knuckleheads).

Again thanks for all the good hunting reports and outstate Minnesota perspective. I have great respective for those of you who have found a way to make a living in the country.
