Darrin and Dan both won.

Like Mayfly said, it shows that they both won.  There must of be a prize for largest with a bow, and a prize for largest with a gun.

The 95 kqds big rack contest got out of control Jason and Bill did the wright thing and gave first place to Darrin's entry and then they also gave Dan first place for most dishonest votes ;D
its hard to believe that a sportsman would go out and ask for votes for first place when they know its wrong.  :(  it's to bad when there is no honor with sportsman.  I would again like to thank Jiggle stick and all the mnoutdoorsman for there support. I'm sure there votes were honest as they did not know either person. Those who ask for votes for first place when they knew they weren't close as far as in concerned have no honor. We live in the greatest country of all where we can discuss thing and vote. Lets go forward from here with honor.  Grandpa Jack

Grandpa Jack, it was nice to talk to you yesterday evening.
I am glad things turned out like they did.
if the contest had been billed a photo contest instead of a biggest rack contest, Darrin may or may not have come out on top.

I placed a post in two websites that I frequent.
in these posts, I first gave heads up to the contest and that I thought that the contest was unaturaly lopsided. I asked the viewers to check it out, providing the link directly to the website contest.
I asked them to vote for what they thought was the biggest rack.
it was unanimous. darrin got 99.9 percent of the votes that they cast.
I can say those two posts were seen by better than 600 unique visitors in 24 hours.

where Dan came up with over a thousand votes in just a few short hours, your guess is as good as mine.

the other guy, Bob, told us he made posts on two other websites with huge traffic numbers, asking to help him win a remote car starter by voting for him in this contest, which they did.

one guy asked me if what we were doing was dishonest, I replied, NO.
I did not ask them to vote for Darrin. I asked them to vote for their choice of the biggest rack. I was more than confident in darrins great buck.

Darrin deserved recognition for this and he has it.

it's not like it was for a million dollars, but that's not the point.
if it was a joke, then they should have stated that. I dont believe it was intended to be a farce. they offered a nice prize.
what bothered me the most was seeing someone obviously rigging the contest.
I did no such thing, but just made more people aware of the contest so we could get more honest votes.

way to go Darrin, nice buck.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

I think there is alot that could be said about this contest, but first and for most, I would like to thank each and everyone of you who took time to vote. As far as the other fella who won, congratulations. If he honestly thought he had the biggest rack, then so be it. Great job getting all those votes! If he was just trying to win a car starter and screw someone who really deserved it. Then that tells everyone what kind of sportsman he really is. Thanks again to everyone who voted honestly.
