seed purchasin?
I usually get my seed from the local mill... this weeks add at fleet farm has alfalfa and clover/corn and such in 50# bags.. would this seed keep over the year? I'm just wondering if it would be beneficial for a small time food plot guy to buy in such quantity?

good point i would say call a feed mill or call fleet farm and ask them let us know what you find out

forage mixture 109.99
a-ok alfalfa 50#'s 129.99

this is right from the add.. I should swing into petersons in NorthBranch and see what this would compare with. the nice side to having a larger quantity would be I could reseed or fill in the week spots once they start to grow.. I just know I really liked what the turnips did for me last year and would like to try that rye grain? a few of you have talked about...
