One thing I am trying to di is add motin to the spread. Have any of you used flags like we use for canada's for snows? I have 4 of them on order, just wondering if they are worth while. They should arrive within the week and I am thinking of possibly rigging them stationary like some sort of flyer, but I won't know if that is an option untill I can actually see and feel them. I got them from cabellas online and they were on close out for under $4 a piece, so i figured if they are not an option I am only out a few bucks. Let me know what you guys think.

We have uses kite's, flags, this motion box that has 2 kites on it and swings them around in a circle.  I usually have my own set-up of 3 dozen shells and an electronic caller.  The geese I shoot become more decoys.  We usually limit out most every day.

This is one days hunt.

About 3 dozen in each spread for snows.  I know of others who think numbers are the name of the game and to each their own.  Maybe the further south one goes to hunt them the more you need.

actually we found that deadly dekes and sillo socks add all the motion you need not to mention alot easier to store and travel with,no more full bodies for us~Flyers? sometimes they work great and we leave'em out,if the birds flare we take'em down, every day is something different.

The spread~

Add the extra movement.  If it is counterproductive, pull them out like Snow says.

Here's a picture of one I shot a few years ago during a hunt in west Texas.

A person can never have enough guns.  The sand down there was a killer on everything.

Snow - I saw that video a few days ago. Those things look nice. I wonder what kind of motor/battery they have. I like the looks of it. Lugging more electronics into the field may be a pain tough.

An ATV with big lugs for the slop and a trailer.  On our trip in Texas, we had 5 guys to guide so myself and a buddy (the guy on the left of the photo, I'm on the right side) used the ATV and trailer to lug out the dekes, shovels for pits, and all the gear.  Same field the picture was taken in.
