    1)  What do you look for when you visit ice fishing forums?
    2)  What can we do to make this forum better?
    3)  What is your primary species you fish for?
    4)  Is there there a particular area that you would like more info on?   (metro,N,S,E,W.)
    5)  Would you prefer pics and techniques or actual vids.
    6)  Would you like to participate?

The weather is turning for the better tomorrow.  At least temperature wise.  Please feel free to chime in and answer any or all of the above questions.  If we get enough input we can put together one heck of a good forum.  Real life Minnesota fishing without all the hype.  When we have to start each topic with Johnsonville brats. I am out.  Just sayin!! :whistling:

DDSBYDAY   I joined  this forum a couple years ago secondary to the Eelpout section! ;D  So of course my Favorite icefish is the mighty Ling, Burbot, Eelpout, Lawyer or Cusk!  But as you know like to icefish for anything.. what ever is biting.  :fishing:    I have learned a lot of icefishing info on forums so the big thing is to learn new info... be it techniques, new stuff, cool pics of fish or gear, general areas to fish, Not looking for specific spots (waypoints)to fish but just info on what works best and why....
Vids are great but not everyone can make them or post them...IMO.

Keep up the good work and the ATI's rock on Sauger and Walleye..

We will have an ice challenge for next year.   I think with a little research ATI will have a pout lure or two  ready for Feb.  Would you like to try them?

I like to see tips and tricks.  I also like to see home made stuff that works.  I fish mostly 100 miles west of the cities.  I also like to hear about equipment people like and a heads up on stuff not to buy.

I joined this forum for tips and ideas. I love ice fishing and look forward to hearing and seeing what other people do. I would also be very interested in seeing videos of all things to do with ice fishing.   I like to try new lures/jigs, maybe have a section with that. I am not sure there is anything to make the forum better I enjoy looking now????   I would also be open for particapating in videos or info ideas.

From what I have read you will fish form 20-50 ft deep.  Glow is good.  The only thing I need to find out is the hook size.  I think I will go with a single hook.  If anyone has any idea about hook sizes for pout let me know.  These will be ready for the pout fest.  Corny I still have your address so I will send some  out to you when they are ready. :happy1:

:bump:   I hate to say it but the ice season will be fading fast.  Please feel free to add your comments as to how we can make this forum better.  I like the idea of a fishing challenge but we need input to make it work.  This season is not over yet but mother nature kind of  :taz:  :titanic:  sank the early ice season with the heavy snows and slush problems.

I would give more reports if I could catch something other than a perch. Not one single walleye pulled up through the ice this winter. That's pretty sad.  :oops1: Maybe I shouldn't say that just in case you decide to have an ice fishing challenge next season. I'll wind up being the last guy chosen for a team, or maybe the odd man out kind of deal after people read this.

Do not bet yourself down, For it was a bad year for lot of people, The report I heard It was a tuft year for Ice fishing for walleyes, The sport shop next to me said his sale was down 1/2 He thou it had a lot to do with the weather as the snow we had to soon got a late start on the hard water, As the cold front and low light all played apart in a slow year,

First I like to say DDSBYDAY  You are doing a good job here,
As most people come and sign up on a form, Do this because they want to learn,
As doomanmxz99 said (I joined this forum for tips and ideas. I love ice fishing and look forward to hearing and seeing what other people do.)

So reports of all kind from new gear to what people are use and on and on, Now I no that reports will come more in time as more people sign up the more reports we will see post,

One man or woman can not do this by them self,
We need more of us that been here to post More reports Not just in Ice fishing but open water all over in the from, We all know that hunter as been posting lot of information on the News front Thank hunter, and Outdoors Junkie has been working on the SD board, Thank Outdoors Junkie, As these held We still need more posting of what form member are trying what they like what they dislike best buys, tips, and more, Thank you all again,
