One of my clients and his son took some casual video on an outing with me this Spring on Lake Geneva. A few months later he sent a very large package to my house. I had no Idea what this was and proceeded to open the box. After filling half the living room floor with foam packing popcorn, I found a DVD video that he had put together.

One of the five topics on the video was Lee's Guide Service. He did a nice job editing and added background music besides. It's actually very entertaining and somewhat comical. After having a few friends view it they suggested that I put it on my web-site so I'd like to do that.

Now, here's where the problem comes in. I am so lacking in computer skills that I don't even know where or how to start. Is this something that is very difficult to do? Do I need special equipment to do this? A friend that does my web-site stuff is in FL. till spring and didn't know if he could do it or not since he's never tried something like that.

Is this something to hard to tackle? Any helpful and constructive responses would be much appreciated.

Basically what need to be done is this:

You need to import the DVD into your computer and then host it on-line and load it on to your web page.

As far as importing the DVD into your computer I am not sure if Windows Movie Maker will do that. I have a software called Adobe Premier Elements that will import video from DVD.

After importing it you face the obstacle of downsizing the file but maintaining the quality.

And like I mentioned before you just need to uplaod it somewhere on the internet..probably onto your website and then it can be streamed/viewed.

I hope this makes some sense....

Yep "basically" whay Mayfly said.  You can host it at your site or host it at another site like www.youtube.com or www.googlevideo.com

Thanks for the quick responses guys. ;D Now I have some general Idea on how to approach this. The next step for me is to start delegating the project. :-[
