It had been a couple of weeks since I was last up there.  The perch hit pretty good until 9:00 am but were on the smaller size. Most were 8-10 inches.  We kept 3 that were 12 inch jumbos.  We found most of them in 28 fow.  When it became apparant that the perch had quit biting we moved to a favorite spot just off of sermans flat and pounded the tullies in 31 fow.  We kept 20 over 2 pounds with the largest pushing 3.5 pounds.  The bait of choice for the perch was a green puppet minnow followed by a shiner colored puppet minnow. The tullies wanted RED.  Red spoons tipped with red eurolarve.  I lost my favorite red AT47 that I got from MNO's very own DDSBYDAY after about 10 fish, and I felt .
We crossed 1 crack that was wide open (2-4 inches) which ran parralell to an old road that some people were still using.

We were out there from 8am to 7pm and hit 10 jumbos 10+ inches. there sure were alot of 6-9in perch caught through out the whole day. and i think we kept 15 tullies. We had 12 of us fishing on the east side in 27 fow. I had a red and white swirrle eyedrop (thanks again DDS) tipped with red euro larva and that caught both perch and tullies. how do you guys cook your tullibees? my brother inlaw was gonna can them and smoke them. how do they taste in a fryer?
