I went out and did a little scouting this evening for our up-coming turkey season.
We got drawn for season "F"

I seen some fresh dusting areas and fresh tracks...so, I know where to set -up  :happy1:
Also, on an field next to the land we will be hunting, I spotted 8 birds, 2 of which were toms displaying (to far off to take a picture with my phone)

Season starts tomorrow, so I patterned my shot gun with the new choke tube at 35 yards.

I'd say, that's a dead bird!  :happy1:

Welp, I went out this morning by myself cause the daughter had to work.
The toms were gobbling up a storm all morning. When they hit the field I was on, they each had a couple hens with them, displaying and strutting.

The problem was.....I couldn't get them to come close enough to get a shot. They were to busy with thier own girlfriends to come and check out my decoys. But, 2 jakes and a hen decided to come and see....only one jake and one hen left...  ;D
