    • Fishing & Hunting South Dakota's Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe
Well we now have a great overall bite going on. The walleye bite is starting to go on Oahe with fish being caught in Cheyenne river and back of spawning creeks. Northern Pike fishing is excellent along with Cat fishing. Salmon even picking up so Oahe going great. Lake Sharpe putting out limits of walleye and smallmouth from downtown Pierre to West Bend but a lot of boat traffic around there if that bothers you. Was one of three boats using the boat ramp at cow creek all week and we took tons of catfish and a ten fish Northern avg. per day for 5 Days with 6 fish over 19 lbs. and at least 15 of them in the 14 to 17 lb range. Fished the Dooney group from Colorado to a big batch of both on Sunday Monday and then helped with the Wilke group to nice stringer limits of walleye along with Northern/Smallmouth/Catfish. Bite is all in 10 feet or less water with a lot if fish coming in 2 to 5 foot. Minnows for walleye smelt for Northern/Catfish.
