The fish seem to be on the move.  Fishing has been good along the west shore from Zippel Bay to Long Point.  Downriggers have been working well in 27 to 29 feet.  Schools of fish seem to be spread out and the fish come in bunches when hitting the right school.  Bait fishing has been hit and miss.  It’s a matter of being in the right place, at the right time, and with the right presentation.

Fishing has been good for those who venture up near Garden Island and Stony Point.  Jigs and spinners in about 28 feet have been productive as well as plugs.

Highs will be in the 80s this week with lots of sunshine and not a drop of rain in the forecast.  It should be a great week to be on the lake.
