Fishing has been outstanding this week.  Lots of fish being caught in 20 to 25 feet along the south shore with jigs and shiners.

The shiners are still running up the river, but as of today, the walleyes have not followed suit.  Fish are definitely staging in the gaps, and I would expect walleyes to be in the river soon.  Water temps are still very warm for this time of year, and have actually risen this week.  The current water temperature is 57.2 degrees.

Looks like the weather will remain seasonably warm during the upcoming week.  Enjoy it while it lasts.  The cool temps will be here soon enough.

Fish ON!
