Ok I'm way too excited for my own good. I just adopted a 4 year old yellow lab. At first I said I didn't want another dog but found out the previous owner was gonna shoot this guy. So we get him home and he's a great dog and has hunted in the past so guess what - he's gonna hunt in the future too. Barkley is his name.  :happybounce:

OMG the dog formerly known as Trigger and formerly known as Barkley is now (and forever more) known as Sam. None of use were fond of the name he came with and he didn't even respond when we called him Trigger so we decided we'd change it right away. One of my very first ideas was Sam. OHH nooo that's too boring, that's a person's name, I know someone named Sam... So after debating for days, it came full circle. Ahh patience certainly is a virture.   ;D
