This is my first archery deer, a  4 x 3 that I stuck on Saturday morning. He came in on a string right to me after making a couple short doe bleats from over 100 yards away. He stopped broadside and slightly quartering away 12 yards in front of my stand so I SHWACKED him!

Congrats Scott!

I know you have put in a lot of work with choosing the right bow, practicing, scouting, and sitting in the stand this fall.  Glad your hard work paid off!

I bet you are now an archery hunter for life!   :happy1:

i just got my second kill with a bow saturday its hard but the only reason i havent gotten more is because you need to spend alot of time in the woods to get the right shot and if you havent figured that out yet you will only need 3 more deer and ill be up to my age in deer kills (15)

CONGRATZ

And so, another guy is hooked on archery.  Very cool.  Nice buck.

Thanks for the great encouragement and YES YES YES I am hooked on archery hunting now. I've even got my Dad talking about getting a crossbow (he had medical issues that prevent him from pulling a compound bow) and hunting archery season with me. Great times in the woods with friends and family! Be safe in the woods everyone and good luck on your hunts.
