My son and I yesterday had an interesting hunt.  We saw the little buck (pictured below) and a big buck (no picture available) - YET.

The buck in the photo was proud of his matched set of polished, three inch spikes.  He was 60 yards away when I gave him a few "can calls" after some time looking he made a big arc and ended up 10 yards from my stand.  He is still out there looking for does.

My son was hunting about 250 yards away and several minutes after a doe passed by (traveling to the southeast) he heard grunts coming from the southwest.  The grunts got louder and louder and finally he saw the big buck.  It stopped about 40 yards away.  Wind wasn't a factor, but it just stood there.  My son started slowly with soft grunts, progressed to louder grunts and finally the granddaddy Grunt-Snort-Wheeze.  Nothing could persuade the buck to come any closer and he finally just ambled away.  Great show but no buck on the ground.
