Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but I'll give it a go.

A buddy of mine from Vancouver came into town to hunt this weekend.  He went back home this morning but our venison won’t be processed for a few days.  I’d like to send him some, but I’m having a hard time finding any info online about exporting venison to Canada, does anybody know if its legal?  Has anybody sent meat to Canada before, if so what’s the best/cheapest route?

I also may be able to send it to somebody in Washington state and then he could drive down to get it, do you think that would be cheaper/easier?

Thanks!

Call your friend to see if he can come up with info on his end.
I think your best bet would be to ship to Washington if you have some one there that can keep it fresh/frozen. Getting venison across the border can be tricky because of the CWD regs.
