The fishing has been kind of slow, ice conditions are about 3 –7 inches in the bays… check the ice as you go out, be safe. Spotty panfish reports in bays

We have ice! People are starting to go out in the bays, but the main lake is still dangerous. We are looking at 4-6 inches of ice in the bays. It still pays to be cautious though.  Walleyes are being taken in Carson’s Bay in 12 – 20 feet of water, lots of smaller fish, but a few nice ones once in a while.  The crappie bite on Lotus Lake has been fairly good, but you gotta weed them out.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?
