Spearing prediction

I predict we will be spearing by the 1st of december this year, hard to justify when its october 1st and still talking 70's and 80's, but when it changes i'm betting its going to get cold.   I just hope to get some good ice befor we get dumped on with snow.

that would be awesome. yea the snow, the big amount stuff can stay away till we got good ice. i might not get out till the second weekend in dec though!

couple inches of snow for deer hunting, and let it be cold for a couple  weeks

I vote for 6 to 8 inches of snow by Thanksgiving then a cold snap for 2 weeks so there is not snow on the ice till near Christmas.

Thats most years, small ice, then snow, and Im blocking the house up 6 inches.

i heard they may have set spear houses on the 3rd river this past weekend! dont know for sure if it actually happened!

may be by next weekend a guy might have a chance to get on the ice here in central part of the state.
