Not that it matters, but who should the Vikings start at QB this week?

Brad Johnson or Tarvaris Jackson?  If Brooks Bollinger would not have hurt his shoulder, he would be the starter this week.  So, do the Vikes go with 38 yr old 4 interceptions last week Johnson or the raw rookie Jackson?

it's a throw away season.
why not let the rookie step up and get some playing time. as long as our line doesnt let him get killed.
three step drop and either hit the open man or throw it away.
you can practice as much as you want, but there is no better experience like experience.

yes, tarvarious all the way baby ;D

I would have to say Ryan Longwell, or Mewelde Moore. They both have a 100% rating.

Might as well have a little excitement to the game.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - It's Tarvaris Time in Minnesota.

Vikings coach Brad Childress announced Tuesday that rookie Tarvaris Jackson will start at quarterback for the final two games of the season.

Jackson, a second-round pick out of Division I-AA Alabama State, takes over for veteran Brad Johnson — perhaps marking the end of the 38-year-old quarterback's second stint with the Vikings.

Childress said Jackson "gives us the best chance to win."

"I have high expectations for him," Childress said. "He's prepared. He's ready to go."
