It sure feels good to be working on the lake again. Taking florida out brought back memories of the greek and I taking the houses out the first year we built them and how proud grandma would be of us. I thought about that and had to call the greek in alaska and say hello.
Jigglestick and the goose  happened by friday eve and needed a bed so they were the first to fish and sleep in florida this year. They caught a couple fish , Gooses has a new toy for there fishing business on winnie. He let me take it for a spin.  A new ranger completly inclosed with all the bells and whistles plus mattrax to boot what a machine.
Mike,Sean and there boy fished florida saturday night and only landed 4 keepes and one 37 inch pike.
Met a couple of guys that need
ed a bed saturday night and took care of them.Cody and Derrik They had a new razor and that is now on my wish list. Reminded me of a dune buggy and I would buy one of them over a wheeler anytime. They also were very interested in taking a trip to alaska in the future. I told them the greek will take great care of them. I just happened to have 3 sockeye salmon fillets so they went home with some fish. Bet they did not expect that. They were fishing a portables next to the pressure ridge and did not do as well as last weekend when they were here.
Never heard from Chris after he moved. Ole did gety two keepers last night in a secret spot. If it was secret he must of been fishing with cusin Pete.
My early season special has not produced any thing yet?
Bob will be up tomorrow and Jim will be up tuesday with there crews

With the temps in the high 20s and a lite wind today is one of those days to be on the lAke all day :yay:. Looking forward to hitting the lake in about 10 minutes as bob and his crew roll in at 7am.
Then the big job of the day is taking minesotta off its blocking and hitting the ice. I prefished a spot yesterday and was happy with what i saw and caught. The heats on and will be on until that house comes off the lake. The sweety will be happy as its her favorit and she plans on useing more this year then any other.Time will tell

The fishing has still been real good :yay:. Jake was here scouting out areas and figured he caught well over 150 fish.Jake aslo landed a couple of guide jobs and took three hard houses to a area he really liked. We had family in old minnesota friday and saturday with Jonny and Shell chick doing real well in old minnesota. Ben and Shawna are in old minnesota on a new spot and Ben landed a 41 inch pike on my rattle wheel in old minnesota :waytogo:. Jeff was in montana before I moved it and had 3 keepers when I sent him to california :chased:.
Frank, josh and Sam spent the night in florida sunday and landed 3 keepers.
The winds we had sunday  were a force to be reckon with and created some huge drifts around the houses. Scott had to dig his genorator out of 3 feet of snow. Scott and wendy filled out as well as there friends that stayed in mnontana.
Today I have to get florida moved and then we have a fulll house for 2 days. I still have two houses open this coming weekend the 6th and 7th  :(.
