While I was setting traps today the CO stopped and wanted to see my lic. I dug it out and gave it to him while saying ya coulda save the hassle of getting outta ur truck. He replied I gotta do my job ya know. Ya I know but I thought ya remember I had a lic for everything. He had this puzzled look on his face. I said ya don't remember do ya. No. I refreshed his memory of checking me on friday while spearing. Oh yea now I remember where I seen this truck b4.

He asked if I ever do any predator calling. Turns out so does he. He don't shoot though he just likes to call them in. He asked if I have any place I'd care to invite him with. Said he'd do the calling if I done the shooting. Told him I'd get ahold of him after the first of the yr.

Now I think that is just downright pretty cool. 8)

it's nice to have a good relationship with your local CO.
to many people have a bad impression of law enforcement official, but then some of them have brought it on themselves, but just a few bad experiences go a long way. :-\
