    We also have to say a big thank you to the guys putting this together.  Lee for handling the prizes.  Fawkinnea, HD, and the General for doing a bang up job judging, and keeping the scoreboard up to date.  We all appreciate the work you guys do.      Because this is the smack down thread I have to mention that you do all that work wearing skirts.

now i will again return to the Hall of fame, three time in a row  will  I do 4  "The Avengers"  2012 Fishing Challenge Champ!!   

I see I will be a big target in the up coming year's

   Team Avengers, I am  to have to inform you that our cover shoot and feature article for People magazine has been cancelled.      Apparently the storm out east has been given priority to our win.  I asked if it would be rescheduled in the near future and the gal sad no.  Our invitation to the White House to meet with the President was cancelled by me.  We can go see him in the unemployment line at a later date.  So I guess it will just be the typical awards ceremony at the MNO club house.  I took the liberty to tell the dancing girls to pretend to be nice to my teamates.    So much for our fame and fortune.

Once again I've been saved by uncle Willy.    I don't even know how I'd make it through life without tapping upon your infinite wisdom.

By the way that last walleye photo you posted was a dandy. To bad It didn't measure up any bigger than your 30 incher . I do have to admit that the photo shop enhancment was very well done.

I know better than that wild. Your ego wouldn't let a walleye upgrade go un-posted when your searching for that 90" mark. Nice try though!

  It's been kind of quiet in here lately.     about that.  Team "Avengers" have been enjoying our time in the MNO club house.  The winning team is obligated to spend 48 hrs in the club house after the victory.      You won't be hearing from the 2nd place team for a while.  They are obligated to do a whole week in the MNO 2nd place MNO camper.  As I know first hand there is a big difference from 1st to 2nd  .   I can not even share with you where the 3rd place team has to spend 3 wks.

    That's the beauty of the MNO Fishing Challenge.  If you don't place in the top 3 teams you can go to all the celebrations.  The MNO club house get's a little crowded.  Everyone but the 2nd and 3rd place teams are there.

Congratulations to HD for getting us into 3rd place at the last minute, we'll be back next year!
This always a bridesmaid, never a bride is getting to me so I'm going to plan a secret strategy this winter to bump that funny looking, hippie guy, with the pony tail out of first place!

My glasses may need cleaning, but as I looked at the fish entry pictures, I'm thinking that HD's Pike upgrade is looking more like 46 inches, instead 36 inches!!
This being said, I'm thinking the Legion of Doom has won it all this year?

As much as it kills me I've decided to relinquish my current avatar. It no longer fits my M.O. for the next 12 months. Out of respect to Uncle Willy I would like to offer up my avatar to him to be used at his discretion for the next 12 months.

Ok enough of the bad news.
  Fortunately I've been able to secure a new avatar that defiantly redefines my current status amongst our elite group of MNO Challenge participants. So, in short  Willy please feel free to utilize my relinquished avatar since you've earned it both on and off the water. Just remember I will be looking to re-secure said avatar in the year to come.
