Hi all the fishing this year has been outstanding  there is only a couple of days left to get out for northerns & walleye so if you go out this weekend look to break lines 12 to 20 feet for walleye in the low light times some lakes to try would be fish hook, potato, leech.northern can be had just look to little shallower water. Pan fish have been active in the area lakes like portage, 6th crow wing in 12 to 18 feet have been turning out fish the key to the pan fish is to be on the move until you find them.

hi all Now is the time to get out and look for the pan fish the weather is on the rise and it is easier  to stay on the move so with that in mind look for bluegills in 10-14 feet of water on lakes like fish hook, portage, 6th 10th crow wing. Look for crappie in 23-27 feet suspended in lakes like big mantrap and some of the same crow wing lakes. The key is get out and enjoy this weather and set the hook on something.

What a nice weekend The fishing in the park rapids area was pretty good try fishing early morning and late at night in 5ft to 15ft of water. spottail's leech's  have both been working. Also think about crank baits. On a side note the Park Rapids area is going to be hosting the governor's opener next year. until next get out fishing and set the hook.

What a great week we have had after rain and wind early in the week the weather settled and fishing was good Walleye's can be found on lake's like Potato, Fish hook, Island, and Long in 8-25 ft of water using leech's, minnows, crawlers try all three to see what they want that day. Northern pike action has been consistent on pretty much any lake in the area. Large mouth and small mouth fishing has  been good on the shorelines on Potato, Fish hook, and Belle Taine. Pan fish have been biting in 6-12 ft on weedbeds with bobber tub jig or minnow. Musky action has started out good look to Big Mantrap for one of these toothy creatures. Above all just get out and set the hook on something.

Anyone ever fish Blue Lake? Looks like an interesting lake and I was wondering if anyone had some tips?
